Expert music education, filled with joy
For more than 20 years, Kimberley has helped children, young people and educators discover what becomes possible when excellent music teaching is paired with creativity, play and genuine connection.
Trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Kimberley holds a Bachelor of Education in Music and a Master of Music Education with a Kodály emphasis from Holy Names University, California. Her career spans classroom teaching, choral directing, university lecturing and the professional development of music educators.
Alongside directing Little House of Music, Kimberley teaches at Perth Modern School, lectures in music education at Edith Cowan University and is an accredited lecturer for the Australian Kodály Certificate. In 2024, she received the Award for Excellence in Australian Kodály-inspired Music Education for Innovation.
Her qualifications are extensive, but families know Kimberley for something simpler: her ability to see each child, draw them into the music and create a space where learning feels joyful, natural and full of possibility.
