Music belongs to us all

little house of music

Why learn music?

Why wouldn't we! Music connects us, music can change your mood in a single second. It brings out emotions and allows us to express ourselves.

Music has existed since the beginning of time. People have always sung songs danced to music, and played musical instruments together. Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words.

Music is an integral part of our lives, yet it’s often taken for granted. Music is so much more than what people realise. It is a language, it reading, it is math, it is history, it is science and it is art. Music belongs to all of us at Little House of Music.
